In fact, the Ameristar is more our cup of tea, and I've already booked our room there for our next concert we have planned, they care about their hotel guests and whether or not they're pleases with the food because they know if your guests are happy they're going to spend more in the casino. You couldn't pay us to stay here again, too many bad experiences. We have 3 more free nights in the hotel which we will not use. This must be what prison food tastes like. Yuk! The pork bber, shrimp sour, beans taste like off brand straight out of a can. The Buffett is the worst casino Buffett we have ever encountered or tasted. It's looking amazing can't wait till they finish. Spent the first part of our evening at Verizon Wireless Ampetheater during El Monstero, finished off in the casino which was a good time, dealers were very friendly and fun. our room was complimentary, thank goodness. Room was on the 6th floor with a View of parking garage. Very few outlets, even no outlet where they keep the coffee pot, had to move it. Room was about a 8 in cleanliness, there was dust on the bathroom sink, spots on the mirror.
Had requested a smoking room, spoke with someone the day before on the phone to confirm this, only to be told upon arrival that none were available.
